Get familiar with the ukulele, review a brief history of the instrument, and learn basic chords for a beginner level song. By the end of the session you will be able to play a whole song!

Net sports are a great way to stay active, try something new, and have a little fun along the way! From the fast-paced rallies of ping pong and badminton to the teamwork of volleyball and the growing excitement of pickleball and tennis, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. These activities are easy to pick up, perfect for all skill levels, and a great way to build confidence, coordination, and friendly competition. Whether you’re playing for fun or looking to sharpen your skills, net sports offer an upbeat, engaging way to move, connect, and discover a new favorite game.

Enjoy a leisurely walk to explore the sights, sounds and smells of spring. We will be collecting items to make teas and simmer pot ingredients; as well as for other projects

We’ll tangle and then put them together. Adorn your holiday tree or wherever you’d like! Bring your favorite pens and watercolor markers if desired. Instructor will provide tiles and additional tools for use.

Learn basic embroidery techniques by making a sampler! Follow along to create a landscape using multiple stitches that you learn along the way.

Get your feet ready for the beat! In this class you’ll dance a variety of folk dances, line dances, circle mixers, contras, party games and anything else we can have fun doing! These will all be beginner dances so come with a smile and expect to have fun!

Make your own paper houseplant. No green thumb needed! Choose from Pink Cordyline, Rattlesnake Plant or Fishbone Cactus. Limited supplies of each. Make one and you might be hooked like I was.

Let card templates spark your imagination as you explore the possibilities of paper crafting. Choose from a variety of layouts, mix and match your papers and rubber stamps, and create a handmade card that’s uniquely yours.

This button initial artwork can be done with the most basic of sewing skills. If you can thread a needle, tie a knot in the thread, and sew on a button, you are good to go!! If you can't thread a needle or sew on a button, you will be proficient by the end of this project.

In this class you will learn ways to have fun and break down barriers in your groups. The games and activities that you will learn can be used for small and large groups. Be ready to move around at your comfort level as we will be playing the games and doing the activities. Get ready to have some fun!

Mindfulness is a practice that assists us in focusing our attention on the present moment using our breath and awareness. It can be used anywhere and at any time. If you need a little care or a little reset, come join Renee Farison for a variety of activities to help us pay more attention to the present moment.

Make a colorful and functional coaster using rope, yarn and an embroidery needle. Project progresses quickly once you get started and your fun design appears as you wrap and stitch. All materials and tools provided to make one coaster.

What is a portrait? A portrait is a picture of a person. Typically, a portrait is a drawing, an engraving, or even a photograph. For our portrait, we are going to create a picture of someone special to us, but we are going to do it with words. The words we choose will create the “portrait” in the reader’s head. This word portrait is going to be created with only 10 sentences - no more, no less, following a very specific set of rules.
