Get familiar with the ukulele, review a brief history of the instrument, and learn basic chords for a beginner level song. By the end of the session you will be able to play a whole song!

We’ll tangle and then put them together. Adorn your holiday tree or wherever you’d like! Bring your favorite pens and watercolor markers if desired. Instructor will provide tiles and additional tools for use.

Learn basic embroidery techniques by making a sampler! Follow along to create a lanscape using multiple stitches that you learn along the way.

Get your feet ready for the beat! In this class you’ll dance a variety of folk dances, line dances, circle mixers, contras, party games and anything else we can have fun doing! These will all be beginner dances so come with a smile and expect to have fun!

Explore nature, art, and science in a new light! Print your own nature image by using this beautiful 19th century photographic method known as cyanotype, the original "blueprint".

Come ready to try, play and giggle - yes, from a chair!

Make your own paper houseplant. No green thumb needed! Choose from Pink Cordyline, Rattlesnake Plant or Fishbone Cactus. Limited supplies of each. Make one and you might be hooked like I was.

Paint a simple floral picture using watercolor! Learn basic techniques and walk away with a beautiful masterpiece all your own. All materials will be provided.

Make a colorful and functional coaster using rope, yarn and an embroidery needle. Project progresses quickly once you get started and your fun design appears as you wrap and stitch. All materials and tools provided to make one coaster.

What is a portrait? A portrait is a picture of a person. Typically, a portrait is a drawing, an engraving, or even a photograph. For our portrait, we are going to create a picture of someone special to us, but we are going to do it with words. The words we choose will create the “portrait” in the reader’s head. This word portrait is going to be created with only 10 sentences - no more, no less, following a very specific set of rules.

Jokers are wild and 7 of spades starts the game in this fun mix of luck and strategy! Jeff Slifka will share all the secrets so Sevens will become a staple of your own family game night!
