In Great Lakes Recreation Leaders Lab (GLRLL) history there have been many successful, informative labs. Here are some of the themes and topics that have been shared during past Labs. (For information on the upcoming lab please click here.)

Patterns In Our Lives had the 2011 GLRLL participants exploring the different ages and stages in people's lives. Participants came "Alive With Purpose" during the general session which examined the patterns we each carry in our personal and professional communications as well as new ways to create more spark in our lives!

In 2010, GLRLL participants experienced Transformation through Recreation. During the General Session (keynote), entitled "Transforming Talk!" explored the ways in which people communicate wtih each other and provided methods to transform our interactions with others.

Adventures In Recreation were had by all whom attended the 2009 Great Lakes Recreation Leaders Lab. With a General Session that explored the theory of Ubuntu and our human connectedness and classes such as team initiatives, outdoor adventures, and much more, an amazing time was had by all!

In 2008 GLRLL participants Unlocked the World to Recreation Leadership with classes such as rubber stamping, table games, group initiatives, geology, program development and dance.

Attendees in 2007 hopped onto a cruise ship for Destination Recreation, Cruise into Leadership. While aboard, skills in Cruise Ship Dancing, Song Leading, Weird Science, Program Planning, Trash to Treasure, GPS and Geocaching, and Basic Life Saving Skills were taught.

As more information is available it will be placed on the website. If you have questions or would like more information about GLRLL please click here for our contact information.
